This article discusses Sa’di’s political thought in the “Golestan” with special reference to the first chapter on the “Manners of the Kings (Adab-e Padeshahan)”. It argues that legitimacy and stability of political power depends on the ruler’s ability to maintain the “circle of justice.” Neglect in preserving the sociopolitical balance results in the decline and eventual downfall of any political system. Such delicate an order requires functionality and a recognition of the organic relationship between the ruler and the ruled.
این مقاله به یکی از نخستین نمونه های تاریخ نگاری ملی در دوران قاجار می پردازد. نه تنها ساخت تاریخی بلکه شیوه نگارش به فارسی سره درنامه خسروان تازه است.
